Default What about this Mod combo?

What if I just get the 3.73's then with the money left over get pulleys and a 2" rear leveling drop. What do you guys think of that? If I get the gears and pulleys and install them at the same time don't you think I would notice a good gain?

I don't know if going to 3.73's from 3.42's would be a good bang for the buck. Your talking about investing $400 to $800 in the rear to drop maybe a tenth of a second in the 1/4. IMO, I would look into a good torque converter for your next mod, or at least something that will give ya some good gains for the dollar.

Again, IMHO, IF I were going to go to the trouble of gear changes, I would go with some 4.10's and Eaton, Auburn, or Detriot locker which would help the off the line punch and traction assuming you have the factory G-80.

with gears and all, you'll probably end up spending the same amont for a drop kit.

SLAM IT!
