Anyone here do a comparison?
I read Westers customer service is hard to deal with?
I have also read Nelson is a Westers dealer?

People here seem to prefer Nelson. I went with Wester's for the simple reason that at the time (before I found this site) they were recommended to me. People here seem to go through Nelson updates faster than I go through underwear (a good thing). Meanwhile, I waited 5 weeks to get my update from Wester's. Its already no good to me as Ive already changed out pulleys and added the SMC kit to my collection. I'll have to spend more to get his tune changed through a wideband and dyno. More money added to the extra $100 additional Wester's charges over Nelson.

I've had my Wester's since January and I've emailed Lyndon with questions a few times, always got a response within 2-3 days. I'll be getting an update soon but I can't add to Greentahoes response about waiting for the update.

Nelson's and Wester's probably use the same program to do the changes but they are 2 different companies (it has been admitted on another site that they have helped each other in the past). Both offer the same 30 day trial, free updates (just pay for shipping), and tons of loyal fans for both companies.

Wester's offers a full credit towards a new PCM if you ever change vehicles, Nelson followers claim he unlocks more power (I have no experience with Nelson's, just reading posts from others)

So far the dyno clash hasn't happened, choose what works for you and enjoy the difference in your truck

I have Westers, mainly since their tunes were the only custom order tune at the time. I'm staying with Westers for the moment since I'm currently adding mods as fast as I can. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with Westers you only pay shipping and return you're old PCM where Nelson is an additional tune charge and shipping.

I've had great luck calling Lyndon. After I give him my info, I've gotten the new PCM a matter of days. He's been very patient with me returning my core.

I'll eventually go with Nelson when I get to the final point since there are many posts saying he is hands down the best for performance. Then Westers can retune for my hybrid.

On a side note, I like calling Lyndon in October when they already have a bunch of snow on the ground.
