He aint gonna knock off 3/4 of a second or even a half second with free mods unless those are big weight saving mods. LOL

 

his r/t was shitty and with free mods done he'll hit mid 15's

 

His R/T has zero to do with his ET... and unless he does !cats mod I doubt he will see more than 10rwhp with free mods.

 

so you mean to tell me with every single free mod there is to do on these trucks, that he couldnt knock off 3/10 off his et.

 

I doubt if he would even knock of 2/10 with the all the free mods unless he does it some weight reduction(spare, tailgate, back seat,).

 

It would be tough if he only did free mods and no weight reduction. Show me a free mod that actually make spower besides intake and no cats?

I'm not saying your complretely wrong but you are definately over estimating free mods

 

in a point your right, but we did all the free mods on my bro's truck(whistlin00) and he knocked off 3/10's off his et.

Here the list we did on his truck.
1. remove screen(maf)
2.air box mod(cut the front and remove silencers)
3.intake tube mod(cut the tube hanging)
4.tb bypass mod
5.p&p tb
6.tb stoper mod(grind down)
7.cut egr tube
8.ram air mod(from the bottom)
9.a little weight reduction.

we did all that and ran with no filter and he knocked off 3/10's. maybe its the weather i dont know.

 

With all that stuff you would be borderline but it's doable. It is so weather dependant at that point though that it is hard to tell unless you have exact DA calculations and how much the truck weighed before and after any weigh reduction and gas levels.

In a way though you are right. Doing all the little stuff and shaving weigh and keeping gas levels low can definately make you about 2-3 10ths faster. Heck I save about 2 10ths just from weight savings when I go to the track. Then I put those 200lbs or so back on afterwards LOL
