Default went to track today!!

yeah so i finally made it to the track today. first time ever. i didn't run as fast as i what i though i could have. i ran a 16.243. 54 degrees with probably a 10-15 mile side wind, 600ft above sea level. it was the first time ever being at the track didn't really know what i was doing. i only got that run in. which sucked. it was opening day (really busy). i think if i would have got some more runs i could have touched 15's. oh well.

does anyone know what a stock 2000 gmc sierra Z71 ECSB 5.3 runs 1/4 mile?

Man. I can't remember what my truck ran bone stock MPH wise. I know I was 15.9-16.2 with a 2.3 60'.

I just don't remember my MHP being that low. Maybe it was.

Realy most of the knuckleheads around here manage to get low 17 and high 16. I did see a denali run 16.20. Hey ladies man good job on first pass keep going you'll get better at working the track and better you're ET.

I have 3.73s also.

I used to launch in Auto 4X4 but after a few mods I had to stop because it made aweful noises and was slower if I did. Now I launch in 4wh Hi and imediately swtich to 2wh once I move about 5' or so.
