I went to the local 1/8th mile track last night with the all new combo. This is the first time out for it and it performed just about how I expected. It needs some gear, that is for sure. My 60 ft was .15 off from the last time out. I have new tires and they are too tall (30x13.50-15 ET Streets) Those tires combined with the 80's 1st gear and the 3.73's and I could only get a 1.83 out of it. The et for 5 runs was 8.02, 8.03, 8.03, 8.05, 8.05 and the mph was 87.x I made one run on the 50 shot and didnt hit it right off the line and it went 7.67 at 92. The weather sucked last night-89 degrees 82% humidity, and 29.4 baro. So I am confident that with good weather, tuning, gears, and a bigger shot I will be able to get it back where I want to be.

 

Very consistent. I'm glad that truck is back on the road. There is no doubt that 8 flat in hot weather is pretty strong, especially with that soft start.
