Default Went to the Dyno again details inside

Hey guys just a quick update
i went to the dyno on tuesday to do some more tuning and to figure out my missing timing issues

Did a few pulls and found it was pulling large amounts of timing as we got into it the onset of 100% throttle it would pull tonnes of timing as you can see in the efi screenshot

So there is some hidden torque mangement table or something like it we are unable to see pulling timing and showing no KR

I'm working on a fix as we speak now <thanks to Kurt From wheel to wheel
put me in contact with someone that might be able to help me out

Also have to work on some piping issues i keep blowing stuff apart
I made the 557rwhp and 583rwtq on 14psi and 94 octane pump gas
Big thanks to the guys at Agostino Racing Engines for helping me out

Awesome #s considering what you are dealing with on the timing issue. How are you getting around the MAF issue being maxed out and all??

Nice numbers, when are you going to take that beast to the track? You may have to go with a different engine control system like FAST or DFI to get the absolute maximum out of your setup, the factory PCM was never intended to control an engine capable of 700+ hp.

Well if all goes well and the tranny holds up maybe next weekend. we'll be able to make some shakedown passes at the track see how things are going then
LOL the factory ecm was never intended to make 700hp ...we'll see very soon what the ecm can handle if not back to the drawing board and start considering some sort of aftermarket ECU cocntrol
After the maff hits it 60lbs of air you just at fuel with the PEVS Rpm tab

I have that same timing issue. I had to set the spark retard limit to 15 to keep it from doing that.

I was doing the same thing, but the fix for me was flashing the computer with the latest gm flash. Started over with a new tune and problem gone. If you reflash, don't try to rebuild the file by copying from your old file. I tried to paste in from an old file, and the problem was still there I don't know if it had to do with bringing data from another file or if it was coincedence.

Nice numbers Jim! You guys get 94oct. pump gas lucky Canadians. I'm stuck with 91 "premium" lol.

It looks like the A/F is a little rich at 4500 and a little lean at 6000...just my .02 It may not actually be because those numbers on the side don't correspond perfectly to any one line it looks like. I have heard with forged internals that a 12:1 A/F at wot is a strong safe tune. But then I remember seeing Rob Raymer's A/F on his QMP turbo car and it was around 12.7:1. What kind of dyno are you on? A Mustang or Dynojet.. Unlocked converter? Good numbers Jim! I bet that truck scoots
