Here is my prob. My Y pipe I did drops the Y back really far.. The muffler can not go back any further, as it is almost at the bend where the pipe jumps up over the axle..

Then that puts the Y for the cut out at my drive shaft loop, right at the cross member in the center of the truck

LMAO no it doesn't I love the sound of the open headers, I guess ima have to looking into the dual 3''s but not for a while, esp for what I will have into them.. The Y makes easy to get to the trans pan, drop it, but cuts out a easy 1 1.5 feet to put that Y in.

it would sound much better with dual 3" cutouts than a single 4" after the y.

But your nut running 4''.. I am kinda limited how much I can turn it up or down.. Like i said the muffler I am running is a diesel muffler, it is huge.. Prob 10'' dia by atleast 24'' long.. And the DS loop is nit helping in my case, nore is my Y pipe set up.. But man it makes it a since to get to the trans.. Again worst case is I have to try and fit a 3'' one on each header pipe, or just not run one at all.. I might have a idea, but not sure how it will work. I have draw it up tom..
