I put my truck back to stock this morning and took it for a spin, it definitly was back to stock. The shift points were back to the normal soft shift and the shift points were back to stock. The power didn't seem that much different though, did one 0-60 run and the time was slower. What I believe made it slower were the lower shift points, not necessarly the lack of the Predator tune. I let the truck cool off and put the trans settings in, -25% for shift speed, +20% for shift firmness and the 1-2 shift is at 5980 and the 2-3 shift is at 5930. The only change I was to the stock tuning was to go +3% on the spark to advance the timing. When I had the HPP, I used no tuning and a GMS MAF that had +5% engraved on it, I assume it advanced the time +5%. Drove around some and it doesn't quite have the pep on part throttle driving but at WOT, it actually felt like it pulled better. Got home and did the 0-60 run in the usual spot, the times was quicker than it was when I did the Predator run. Actually it was quicker than the last four Predator runs I've done. Both the 0-40 and 0-60 times were quicker and the truck seemed to pull better after the 1-2 shift, the time gap between the 0-40 and 0-60 time was narrower. Before there would be about a 3.15-3.2 second gap between the 0-40 and 0-60 run, if the 0-40 happened in 3.3 seconds, the 0-60 happened in 6.45-6.5, the gap was there. With the stock tuning (+3% spark), the truck still did 0-40 in 3.3 seconds but the 0-60 was 6.3, the 3.15-3.2 second gap was lowered to 3.0 seconds, did two runs times were the same. I'll let the ECM take some time to adjust now and see how it does. With the +3% on the spark, I had no KR when I checked. I'll keep checking it and keep bumping the spark until I see some KR. I'll keep you guy posted.
