Question weird mod question

every time I modify my truck and have to disconnect the battery, it takes a few turns of the key to start the engine. I just threw on an intake yesterday and afterwards it took three times to start up. can anyone explain to me why this is happening?

because you have reset the pcm. you know i used to undo the battery every time i did a mod. imo the pcm is going to learn it whether or not i unplug it or not. i dont do it anymore.

At the risk of over simplifying. The programming that your HPP puts in there is a 'baseline'. What it 'relearns' is how your exact motor will vary from the baseline programming.
