Default Weight Transfer

As of right now I am using a 2 inch lowered spring in the front of my truck. My first trip to the 1/4 strip and I was not impressed with my launches. Using slicks I was only able to muster up a 1.9 60 foot with a 13.20 corrected run. (2800 foot elevation)

Here is my question: Would the weight transfer to the rear be better with the stock springs in the front? I have considered going to a 2 inch spindle and placing the stock springs in the front since they are "softer" than the lowered ones. Any thoughts?
