Try removing the loose stuff, spare, jack, etc.

The fastest/easiest weight reduction is to remove the spare tire and jack. One of the most effective is to go with light weight wheels and tires, which effectively reduces drivetrain weight and actually improves rear wheel horsepower.

I usually remove sub box, rear seat, misc. tools and equipment in the back seat, I dont have a spare, or spare tire equipment.. no jack, etc.. Then I remove the back seat(ext cab) inner door panels(plastic interior panel). I imagine its a goo 2-3 hundred pounds overall.. I get the vehicle down to 4800lbs w/o driver this way.. I also have a fiberglass tonneau, 10lb nitrous bottle(like 26lbs full?), and 20's on(old wheels weighed 45lbs+32lb tires.. new ones are more like 28lbs each+32lb tire, so a little lighter now even.)...
