Weight Reduction List!
ok i figured i'd start a weight reduction list, lets name all the parts that can be removed for weight. i'll start it off...
spare tire
car jack/tools
A/C
center console/third seat
backseat(if u have one)
panels
tailgate
bedcover
bumper...

There was a list done one time before, I think. Here's some more, some may not be worth doing though:
Floor matts
sun visors
glove box crap
speakers
front sway bar
dry cell battery
headlight by intake
ash tray, cig lighter
windshield wiper fluid
only run 1/8 tank of gas
If you want to get REALLY crazy: <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
Fuel Cell
Light weight ford 9" or dana 60 with light weight spool
all panels, head liners, sound proofing from under hood and in cab
5.7L all alluminum LS1
smog equipment
Carpet
replace all glass with composites
all convience crap (cruise, stereo, interior lights, etc.)
skinny front tires/rims
custom built light weight bumpers
windshield wipers and motor
parking break components
