Default weight reduction!!!

well, i know most guys take off the spare and tail gate, but what else have you taken out? i figured on taking out my front passenger seat and middle section as well as tail gate/spare next time i go to the track for some times. but what else can we do to get some lower race weights like the fbod guys? i know we can't expect to get down as low as they are but it seems they can shed more pounds than we can in their vehicles. anyone shed some light on this?

You can remove your front sway bar. This also gives your frontend a little extra lift on your launch.

This isn't weight reduction, but relocating your battery is great for weight transfer. There is a formula that shows moving it from the front to the back transfers like 600lbs. Not exactly sure on the numbers.

Removing the sway bar will give you no more front end lift that you are already getting. The sway bar does nothing for limiting suspension travel in unison (right and rear), it only keeps it from swaying (leaning to a side.

About the only thing I can think of for ya is remove the passenger seat, go with a little bit of gas in the tank, and make sure everything is cleaned out of your truck like speakers, trash, and anything else that might be in there.

I agree with you on this. I could shed off some pounds. I have been eating like a pig in the past couple of months just to able to bench more. I am now at 210 and I just feel to damm heavy. I am going to trim down to about 190-195.

15 pounds isn't triming down...i use to lose 10# in a day and you couldn't tell any difference in looks...i think the most i ever lost in a day was 12, and that's a day from hell.

No serously loosing 10-12 pounds/day is a very unhealthy rate. I was eating about 6 meals/day high in protein and carbs now I am eating only 4 times/day high protein and low carbs. This and along with some cardio 4x times/week should do the trick in about 1-1.5 month.
