I know a 5.3 shortblock (minus heads, intake, oil pan, etc) weighs in at about 360 with a wooden pallet.

My LQ4 with all accessories and wiring harness, sitting on a wooden crate. WEIGHED 675 lbs.

I think my LQ4 weighed ~400lbs on the pallet - it was complete with oil pan, accessories, intake and wire harness/pcm. The shipping invoice showed 400lbs.
