warming up my truck to take it out and it started knocking, i pulled the valve cover and found this.

Yeah... Don't think it's supposed to do that.

idk the bolt and nut looked fine. (once i found the bolt). everything looked good went to put it back together and the nut broke into two in my hand. you guys heard anything bad about the comp cams 1.75 magnum roller rockers?

You should put the stock rockers back in, you don't see this stuff with them.

i got the heads with no rockers so i figured id get some rollers for the couple hp and the different ratio. but im kinda let down on the quality of these. they only have 6000 miles on them and already this wtf.

i think the source of the knocking was a loose rocker.

yeah i know but this is not the first problem i have had with the motor. do yall think the bolt could have been left loose and made it this long before it finally decided to jump off? i have had a problem with false knock and wondering if the bolt being loose would mess with the valve causing false knock?
