is this possible with the 5.3 block?

im getting the block from 00chevyscott

i dont know if i want to go forced induction or N/A

yes it is possible but the block will have to be punched out to accept LS1 pistons

5.3 piston > 3.799" 5.7L piston > 3.905"

i got a machine shop down here
any prices on this?
also what cam/springs/heads etc. would yall reccomend?

have a friend that built a 346 for his TA with the MS3 cam and a set of 5.3 heads ported and polished with a fast 78/78
