diameter also makes a big difference in tone... my Jegs 4" diesel system goes all the way to the stock location and sounds big and thumpy... even with the baby motor

I bet 4" does sound mean haha, but my setup would run like a dog with that size pipe.

You could try running it over the axle and dumping it out of sight, that's what I plan to do eventually when I change my set up. I have 2 Magnaflow 4" round 14" long mufflers that I was going to dump before the axle, but now I think it will draw to much attention so I'll probably run it over the axle. I don't like the looks of tips any more either, the truck looks stealty without anything coming out the back IMO.

I dont have any pics of the exit but its just a big ole raw piece of 4" pipe that I slash cut myself to match the body panel. It came as a straight tip from the box.

Tthis is all I have.

and FWIW, if I ever do another dumped system it'll be tucked up way under the truck and angled down RIGHT behind the bumper or in the corners of the bed with probably some 3 1/2" tailpipes...

Here's a thread that I started a while back when I started looking for ideas for my future exhaust, there's some nice looking stealth setups in here that might work for you
