I guess I need to get a converter and stop spraying at 1800.

Had no problems and no knock at all though.

i have sprayed at low rpm's for years and never had a problem untill last year, i had 2 nitrous back fires and both did some damage. it sucks. if you get a converter then you will be at 3000rpm as you leave the hole and you can spray out of the hole safely.

Some people won't remember this, but back in the old days (2 years ago) we had a member with an 01 Crew cab HD, basically stock with an intake and nitrous. It ran mid 13s all the time.
