Default vst question?

I have a 2002 gmc 2500 with transgo shift kit, k&n fibk and 4" jegs exhaust and pacesetter long tubes w/150hp shot nitrous its a SCLB I ran a 13.25 @103 mph with out headers and exhaust. With my vst unpluged it shifts very firm and about 200 rpm higher than with it pluged in and i wanted to know if having that unpluged to bypass the speed limiter if it does any harm to the engine and tranny.also the abs light and e-brake light comes on when unpluged.
