Default Vortech 350 and building for boost-

I want to turbo it-I know the vortech is easy to find but to make 500 to 600whp what will be more cost effective- i know the 96+ Vortech wiring harness plug right into all my accsesories so i dont need a $700 harness... but i was wondering what i need to make this whole thing work-

I want to turbocharge it so...

What i have planned so far-
Ramjet intake manifold w/ custom fuel rails and 42lbs injectors
Speed pro forged aluminum pistons deep dish
Speed pro molley rings
Scat 9000 crankshaft
Scat H-beams w/ ARP studs
Port/polish 67cc vortech heads w/ 3-way valve job
Moroso racing oil pump standard volume
Proform mechanical water pump
Felpro gaskets
melling seemless double roller kit

Please let me know if there is something i should change or something i forgot for the build up- Thank you

THINGS THAT I DONT KNOW WHAT I NEED-
CAM / VALVE TRAIN PACKAGE
WHERE TO GET THE ECU TUNED FOR ALL THE EXTRA STUFF (local shops suck at tuning-) Maybe nelson? or another mail order tune?

- THANK YOU-

Low compression piston
forged crank - internally balanced
forged rods - H beam
high flow heads
camshaft designed forced induction engines
ARP - studs - head main

The last thing you don't want to skimp out on is the machine shop, use a very good machine shop.

There is a lot you can do to a small block engine, 500 hp should be fairly easy since you can buy 450-550 hp as a crate engine.

I look through you list, I don't know much about the water pump you pick, the crank should be a forged 4340. I think Melling is a brand that Autozone sells, not for sure but you might what to consider go with Roller Master for the timing chain.

Most of parts I bought for my camaro's engine came from Scoggin Dickey, all of my valve train and camshaft come from Crane. I know several people got some weird camshafts (not made to specs) from Comp, I personnally have not used Comp Cams component, so you will get different opinions.

no, you dont need a forged crank for a low rpm operation like this. Its so silly that everyone things that everything always needs to be forged.

Anyway, Id go with a traditional SBC (Votec the same?), a nice set of broadsix 220+ heads (summit has a nice kit which includes hardware, intake, valves etc for like $1900) and have them cleaned up (they might actually be CNCed from summit, not sure though). Add a nice carb or have the intake tapped for EFI and run some fuel injectors on it with a stand-alone.
