Vortec Max performance question
Well a friend of mine recently purchased a Max silverado ext. cab w/ 4.10 gears. he used to have a 2001 camaro and ran mid 12s at the track. anyways he is wanting to do some things to the truck and wasn't sure how much it would add. i gave him a list of some bolt on stuff to do and he would probably add a lot. if you could please let me know how much he would see out of all these bolt ons.
1. radix magna charger
2. long tube header (Hooker because these have a welded on flange)
3. pulleys (not sure if he can use these w/ supercharger)
4. magnaflow exhaust
5. wires
6. torque converter
7. shift kit
anything else?
i guess since he has the 6.0L he is starting off with 345hp. please let me know what he is going to be seeing after all this and what he will probably be running at the track. thanks...

Skip the wires and pulleys, everything else is a hell of a good combo really.....I'd imagine at the stock Radix boost he'll see ~425 RWHP (I'm being pretty conservative here too)

I would skip the wires and pulleys also, but add a 160 degree thermostat. You would be looking at 475 to 500 rear wheel horsepower at sea level. 13.5 second quarter give or take.
