Question vortec max/blackbear tune

I have a new body style vortec max and i want to get a blackbear tune. I recently got an extra ecm and tcm from another truck so i dont have to use my stock computers. is it going to be a good tune even if i dont do the data logging tune and just send the extra computers i have to blackbear?

Even a mail order tune from blackbear will be much better than any handheld. The data logging tune will be better, and an inperson tune will be best. Is your truck stock?

i currently have a blackbear tune and quite honestly, it leaves a lot to be desired. it wasn't bad when i was rocking a bolt-on LM7 but when i put in the small-cam-LQ4 i never was very pleased even with a datalog tune. that's my experience, others' will be different

depends on the number and extent of mods. i say once you pass the bolt-on stage it's time to find a local tuner.
