Chris,

I looked at Summit Racing and Jegs for the headers (and JBA's website) everything that I saw were shorties that didn't come with the o2 provision. I really like the idea of already having the o2 bungs attached. Any suggestions on where to look for the mid length headers besides summit and jegs?

Thanks,

Sean

I have also looked up the cam that Chris recommended. Since my torque converter locks up at 900, I think the lower, mid range cam would work best for me. Would you recommend getting a SK kit with new lifters or just the cam and re-use the original lifters. I know that on older, flat tappet engines, you would replace the lifters with the cam. But with a roller cam, do you follow the same protocol?

one more stupid question. Will ANY BB chevy/gmc header work with this engine? I can tell you plenty about Jeep engines but I don't know squat about Chevy, let alone gen VII Chevy engines. Thanks for ya'lls patience.

Yes use the stock lifters, they will be fine. I'm using stock lifters and my cam has over .600 lift
Any BB header will bolt to the engine.

When I look up the Comps XR270HR it says it's for a small block, does it work for both BB and SB?
