i just put a volant on my truck friday night...it's a used one and didn't come with an intake tube. what does the Volant use as a tube when you buy it? do you have to use the stock tube or is there one that comes with it? i'm using my stock tube and it's kinda ghetto, i cut it up to do some custom stuff and never finished it so it's kinda gay looking. i have the upd tube but it's not flexable so i can't use it. someone shed some light on this.

Volant does have its own tube. Unfortunately it seems to have a small air silencer on it, but it looks to be alot smaller than the one on the stock tube. The tube looks large and free flowing as well.

hmmm...maybe i'll just buy another stock tube and cut the back silencer out of it and leave that big ugly(power killing) one on the front. anyone have the tube for a volant sitting around not being used??

Why don't you just call up Volant and tell them you messed up the original one and need to buy a new tube?

actually the very first volant kits eliminated all silencers completely. I have a tube and it works nicely. I have had it for years now and i have yet to want to replace it.
