Question Volant Ram Air Tube Question

Was just curious on which of you guys use the Volant CAI?
And of you who are, do you also use the ram air tube?
What if any, problems have you guys running the ram air tube have run into?
I'm worried about driving in rain or accidentally hitting a good amount of water that the road was holding. The kind of water that makes it looks like you all of a sudden driving a boat.

I'm not 100% on where Fairmont is or really where your talking about.
Enlighten me please.
Maybe I can come out for an hour or so.

I'm running the Volant CAI with the ram-air tube and had the same concerns before I bought it. Shortly after I installed it, the ram-air tube came loose and disconnected from the bottom of the air box. Fortunately, I had used zip-ties to secure it...just in case. Other than that, I've had no problems or complaints at all.

Several months ago, I was headed to Myrtle Beach for a golf weekend and we ran into a very intense downpour. At one point we hit some standing water (unexpectedly), and at 50-55MPH it felt like my truck got a power-douche!

I wouldn't take my truck off-roading with the tube in place, but I don't worry about water ingestion from on-road driving anymore, either!
