Default Volant rocks

Ditto!!
Well made, perfect fit, great performance. I have had Volant since 2003 in 2 different trucks and have loved them. More $$ but you know what they say...........

I had a K&N FIPK (the black plastic one) for a few years and now I have a Volant with ram air, they both feel to perform about the same to me. Both are great quality too. The K&N held up well, I decided to switch to the Volant for a change and because it clears my 34" radiator w/o modification. I'm hoping that since it's enclosed the filter won't need to be cleaned as frequently as the K&N...I guess time will tell. Can't really go wrong with either one IMO.

i doubt anyone will notice a performance gain between any intake.. i just choose the volant cause my truck see's alot of dirt and dust so the enclosed one works better for me

I like the UPD lid and tube with a modified air box. If you get the black one it even looks stock.
