I'm happy with my K&N but out of the two listed above I would probably say Volant. I have heard quite a few people are happy with the Volant.

My opinion would be the AEM!!! I heard nothing but good things about them!!
Its less expensive and the Volant it's hell of alot more and both CAI's give about the same gains!

I have a volant w/ ram air tube I like it but I think either would be fine.

A few advantages the Volant offers is a nicely fitted ram air tube, neat underhood set-up, and an enclosed cone air filter.
Though the disadvantage is it is a little pricey. Though I think a lot of aftermarket distributors will come down off the price, as mine did.
If you decide Volant, get the complete kit with the ram air tube.
I have the Volant system and I'm happy with it.

I have the Volant with ram-air tube and I'm ver happy with it. Clean looking, quality construction. As far as gains, either one would be comparable. I had a K&N before this and it felt pretty much the same as far as I can tell.

Does the volant ram air tube pick up a lot of road debris or does the filter stay pretty clean?

I couldnt decide either but went ahead and ordered the Outlaw intake last week. Never heard anything bad about them.

Not sure yet, I've only had it on there for 2 months so far. I'm gonna check it out when I get my right arm out of this sling (had surgery on my rt shoulder and elbow friday)
