I would be interested in a group purchase if it goes through. I would either go with the Vinci 44 or the Vinci 62, which cam is going to sound better on a 5.3L?

Thanks for your response, I was on there website looking at the specs and I did not understand what "Drive-Inn" idle meant on the "062" cam. That is the the one I want if the group buy happens. Thanks again for the help.

I am going with the 045. I have a baby 4.8 and don't want to lose any lowend, I was playing with desktop dyno last night and I input these specs
DUR @ .050" 200*/ 208*
LIFT .502 / .502
OVERLAP 38*
LSA 114*

VS. the stock cam in a 4.8. If desktop dyno is half right, the cam swap alone should be worth 28 FWHP and 35 ft lbs of torque. It keeps the same powerband characteristics as the stock cam, it just makes for a more intense curve. Meaning it will take the existing curve and just intensify it. I don't want any lope or shake for this will be a daily driver.

Thanks for the sound byte of the "062", That really helps me out with my decision. By the way your truck sounds sweet.

yes you will need to upgrade your springs. VHP offers the Crane dual spring setup for the cam they sell. there are also the Comp 918's, Patriot, and TSP has kits.
