Default ???? Vibration with shackle drop????

I did a rear shackle drop ECSB and have a low speed shutter/vibration when pulling out under load, then goes away. I installed the 2 degree pinion angle shims and it got better but is still there. This is driving me crazy Any advice would be appreciated!! Thanks!

You might possible need to go to a 4 degree wedge. I had to on mine

I had the same problem
If a 2 deg shim does not fix it
you will need to do the carrier brg relo
Mine did the exact same thing...
my fix was to go to a 2/4

I have a carrier bearing relocator bracket with a 2/4 drop. I'm sure you could buy the bracket or custom make one. Mine didn't make noise or vibration without the relocator bracket with a 4" drop. But I had the hanger also. I would try the relocator bracket. I know DJM has them.

What does the relocator bracket do, does it just lower the bearing or what? Thanks!

Nope - thought of that - that would lower the bearing
The brg relo - brings the brg assy up into the chassis
Mine came with my kit
I had a pretty good shudder with a 2" shackle.
It is a pain in the axx

I did a shackle/hanger drop on my 99 rcsb and I hated it. The ride quality sucked and had trouble with wheel hop. I heared the only way to go is with front spindles and rear de-arched leaf springs; which is what I going to do on my 02 ecsb.
