Have you checked you pinion angle and the output shaft angle ?
If so are they the same ?

I didn't have vibration issues until I got my gear swap. I think that they did not cinch down the driveshaft correctly when they put it back in, and I believe this is part os why it blew, but I could be wrong.

I just used the predator on the truck, and it has a mph gauge, but I don't know how high it goes up to. Someone else told me that theirs would not show over 105mph. I got mine to 135mph.

Could be or.....
They tightened the ubolts on the ujoints too much - it will crush the cap
and ruin the needles. esp if they hit it with a 3/8 impact...
Check the bolts - bet this is the problem.
If the bolts are overtightened - the u joint will need replaced.

onyx - I dropped mine with 2" shackles and I have a vibe at 12 mph (did not do the C/B relo yet - and I plan on a 2/4 drop
I am seriously thinking about another shaft. esp the rear one
Not sold on the rear shaft on our EC trucks
The shaft is thin and tapered and steel.
My 1991 shaft was alum/composite - much better.

I'd be willing to bet the guy that put in my stall over tightened the u-joints....he used that impact on practically everything. But I just dont know if its worth messing with because the truck drives fine at any other speed. And there is no reason for me to go 115.

Keep an eye on it...if that is real problem - that joint will fail down the road
