I like the Vette servo fine. Like I've said before I've never tried the billets and my tranny tech recomended I get the Vette servo so that is what I went with. It said for crisp use one washer. I would think no washers would kinda defeat the purpose of the shift kit.

On the holes ... it seems like I read somewhere that the trucks should have the smaller of the recommended holes so that the tranny won't bang when it shifts. The only hole I did that wasn't the smallest recommended was the hole labeled 3 or 3rd. It has a very tame shift under part throttle, and has a good quick shift at WOT.

My '01 Tahoe with Trans Go and Vette servo will bark 1-2 with 265/75-17 Z-71 Tahoe wheels. It shifts nice and crisp and I used one washer. The vette servo was available at my local tranny supplier so that's why I went with it. Been in the truck for almost 2 years with no problems to date.

I also have the vette servo with a transgo. I have one washer and the small holes drilled. It bangs pretty hard onthe 1-2 under normal driving and that is even with decreased line pressure under 18* tps via edit. Anything over 1/2 throttle and it will bark the 1-2 and will screech them pretty good at wot. I will be pulling out that one washer when ever I drop the pan for the next fluid change. The 2-3 is perfect, nice and quick without a harsh feeling as well as the 3-4 although it could be a little firmer.
