Vette Servo?!?!
#1
Ok i Have heard u can put a Vette Servo on our Tranny to make the shifts more crisp...
I am interested in doing this along with the HPP3 to give us a decent shifting for street racing.
Where can i get the vette servo and how much does it run for??

Yea, a buddy of mine had one put in when he had his tranny reworked. Another guy over at FSC did it and said it was the best $10 he has spent. Here is the link: http://64.246.6.99/~admin6/forum/sho...threadid=17718

I had my old 700r4 reworked by the trans guy I work with and it had the vette servo in it. He also took out all of the accumulator springs a dilled the spacer plate slighty. It shifted perfect, however you will not notice much difference if you install a stall converter.

I have a used one I'll send to you if you take care of the shipping. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> They are about $50 from GM. There is also a Billet Servo that I think is made by Fairbanks, that is supposed to shift harder than the "vette" servo.
