Default Very Quick question about who to use for cat

I have just sat here for 3 hours, looking all over for info on what I should use for cats. basically, my situation is this...
engine is stock. got a K&N intake tube and filter, and i cashed in my tax return check for pacesetter headers. Then later this summer hopefully I will install my roller tip rocker arms, nothing big but its something.
I want to retain cats because I do not like that smell. My buddy has his 95 tang gt with the built 460 bbf and every time we drive in it, i smell like exhaust and gas. So i want to keep cats. that, and the whole eagle scout thing got to me and keeping the air clean bla bla bla. i came to terms with me having a truck(lol)(i just tell that to scout leaders)(i love my truck)
This motor will not see anything above 360 horses. so cats do not have to be huge and uber free flowing.
What do you recommend? I am still considering tuning the cats out but keeping them there just to burn that smell off. I would like to not spend a whole lot, obviously, but i have seen many posts about the magnaflow spun cats. I have also seen a post about performance curve cats. I love that price, but do not know anything about them. personally, i tried to keep magnaflow(reason is i want to be different from the rest, those damned mustangs all got magnaflow and they all sound the same)(rant) off my truck but it seems they are the best at cat flow. so help me out. if you have model numbers, that would even be better. thanks for the help.

you know something, I will come to terms with going catless, i guess im more concerned with sound. I plan on running an x-pipe and then section of pipe then muffler (cherrybomb vortex) and then section of pipe and dumped down right before the axle. well i was actually thinking more of keeping the exhaust tucked up more, so that when i get just before the passenger tire, it turns down and over like the ford lightnings, only you wont see the tips. my main concern is loudness. how my stocker exhaust sounds now, idle i can hear it idling in my house. and my dad says he can hear me 1/4 mile away. i really dont like being watched by bored cops. so, i guess for me, its either cats to get rid of a lot of sound, or no cats and somehow still be fairly quiet under 3000 rpm.

An x-pipe will mellow the volume a tad if that helps your decision any.

You can have your exhaust shop weld aftermarket cats into your y-pipe from pacesetter. That is what I will be doing with the ebay headers, and just turning the 02 sensors off in the tune.

Get the shortest ones they make from summit. I think they are about $68/per.

yea i was also thinking about that, however I do not think there is a Y pipe for the headers and my truck. If there was, then i would assume it would be dual into single. I want a dual into dual then possible cats then x-pipe then muffler then turn down
