Default venom control module

ran across this on truckperformance.com.

http://www.truckperformance.com/prod...001&sf3=SILVER ADO%2FSIERRA+1500&sf4=5.3L

anyone know the pros/cons on this? how does it stack up against the hypertech and superchip? settlement money is finally coming around and i'm putting together a shopping list . what should i add next, already have the intake and exaust. thanks in advance.

All I've heard about it is it sux. It is not much different than a plug in chip. BTW, your link does not work, but I have seen what you are talking about.

I'll have to second that...

I've had a VENOM which I dyno tested on my previous Cavalier...it was good for 3 RWHP and a differnt torque curve but same peak. SPend you money elsewhere.

it crossed my mind, but what i'm most likely gonna do is keep the cowl and give the whole truck a new paint make over. maybe keep the black but throw on some ghost flames i dunno. if i ever do decide to discard it, santi, you'll be the first on the list. btw, how's the truck runnin?
