These were sent out a few weeks ago. I'll need your last name to check on this for you.

Thanks,
Tom

so the conclusion is that the stack will work with electronic throttle control but only with the stock intake? I was getting ready to order a FIPK from K&N but I will have to rethink it if these two dont work out together.

Features:
Designed to produce power and torque throughout the RPM range
Increases throttle response
Increases gas mileage
Increases acceleration
Installs in just minutes!
A patent-pending design!
Eliminates the need for a ported throttle-body by smoothing and reshaping the throttle-body entrance to increase the incoming air velocity at each given RPM

This is what you have to do to get one of these -

1. Let me know in this thread and leave your first name/last initial.

2. I will provide the first 5 requests a number for you to use when you place your order. This will help us keep track of everything.

3. You can then call your order in or submit it on our website. Please include the number I provide you with your order.

Tom

I'm with Tom on this one. I ordered one about a month or so ago and installed it in my 2004 Sierra with the electronic TB. No problems so far. And I am running it with my AirRaid MIT tube, so it definitely will work with that tube. I again will not say that I gained a lot of power, but the throttle response is better and noticed a little power down low and higher in the powerband also. I also gained about .5-1 mpg, as much as 2-2.5 mpg depending on how I drive the truck.

I don't see why you were having troubles with it on the electric TB though. Did you make sure you got it installed all the way in and used the provided clip to secure it?

They are designed for the cable tb's, on the electronic ones they completely cover a hole for some sensor and only partially cover them on the cable ones.

Thusly, they -do not- work in 03/04 trucks, unless someone can prove me wrong.

I second that, I felt a loss in power.

I dunno? Seems to be working fine on my 04. Not trying to say that it won't cause problems or anything on the electronic TB's. Just that it hasn't on mine
