Default valvetrain noise

hey guys i have this past week that it sounds as if my valvetrain got louder more than normal where it is really annoying. i thought that since i blew the tranny and had a shop put a new one in a few weeks ago that maybe the exhaust was not bolted down too tightly but checked from the header bolts back and it the bolts were all tight. i have had long tubes on my truck for about 3 years and have heard the "sewing machine" noise but now it sounds like it got significantly louder. if anyone else knows how to fix this would be greatly appreciated

check the weld where all four pipes come into the collector. The weld that I am talking about is in the center of all four pipes, so its not very easy to check, but I have seen Pacesetters crack at that weld. Its shitty, and pretty much unrepairable, but it will be annoying as hell until you do.

Could also be a bad exhaust gasket. Either on the flange or at the head.
