ANyone know how to get them out? I got a set of heads I'm tryin to work on and thought I would do some good by removing them.

take a pair of pliers and grab right above the base very tight and rotate it around both ways while lifting and they should come off. probably have a bit of oil down in them too so don't be freaked out if there's oil when you pull them. what are you doing to the heads you have?

just go easy with the porting at first till you get use to it. what tools do you have for the porting? sand paper rolls are the best thing i've found to port with.

I've been trying different things. I tried some stones with the Dremel, and none of them work real good so far. I tried the sand paper drums but they left like some lines in the metal, next up is a tungsten carbide bit.

the stones aren't that great for porting from what i've seen....the sand paper rolls do leave the lines, but i just got my ported 6.0 heads in last week and they have the small lines in them....if you port with the sand paper go back over it with like an SOS pad on a wheel if possible, that will clean it up quite nicely.
