Thanks, Vortec; I believe I have a pretty good idea for the usage of the truck and even the valve events. Not gonna be headed to the track, DD and travel. It already runs like what I call a scalded cat at sea level; went to Florida for a wedding last year, but probably not what you'd call a scalded cat. I'm probably leaving out the 4.10 gears in my consideration. The biggest thing right now is how soon it runs out of wind which is why I'm eyeballing delaying EVC. Youre looking at more overlap than will be fun in a truck. Even a 6.0. Itll be very soggy down low. anything in the 6* range would be about it but with you not wanting a high rpm cam then stay in the lower durations and keep it on a 111 112 like you said you want to. Adding a stall helps but thats a whole different argument. Thats def not off idle power then.
