Default V6 to V8..different fuel pump? (2003 silverado)

What did you guys do when swapping from v6 to v8 since the 8cyl is a returnless system? do you plug the port on the tank? or do i need a new fuel pump?

Thanks in advance

My 05 4.3 was returnless but yes you could just cap off the return, OR you could just go return style.

to use the returnless fuel rail u need the returnless fuel lines, to use the returnless fuel lines u need the returnless fuel pump, to use the returnless fuel pump u need a different gas tank, to run the returnless fuel pump in the new tank u need a new chassis harness, to vent the new tank u need the new evap system, to run the new evap system u need to fab up a bracket unless your front crossmember already has it for the new style.

lol yup, just did all this. i know i couldve got a return style rail, or used a Corvette fuel filter and rig something up, or even drill a hole in the gas cap to vent it, but we did it the OEM way
