Default V6 Cam help..

my friend has 96 chevy 4.3 v6 and wants to put a cam in it..any one know about cams for these little motors?

I'm not 100% sure, but alot of cams I see in those engine are only about in the high .400's to low .500's in lift and I'm not even sure about the duration...

ive seen some as high as 250 @ .50 duration .530 lift.. but i was thinkin somethin within a 206-218 duration

Edelbrock makes some 4.3 cams, i found a video of one cammed out a while back that sucker sounded pretty mean!

206/206 with about .500 lift on a 114/115 LSA... VERY nice all around 4.3 cam.... Comp will mak it custom if need be... XEr lobes would be a nice addition too if they can do it.


manual or auto?

I picked up a 06 comp cam catolog this past summer at a summit racing show...I m a little unsure what i did with it right now, but i will try to remember where its at and pdf the V6 section...

to much beer kills my brain cells....and my liver

didnt get to sleep till 4 and got to work at 8:40..it was fun though..did some drawing on a kids face..he still cant get the permanant marker off
