Default Used nitrous for the first time today!!

All i can say is WOW. Got my solenoids back after 3 weeks and finally got my system installed and tested it out for the first time today...holly ****, my 33" tires spin like have have 15 inch civic wheels on my truck! i am VERY please, just cant wait to go to the track and see how fast it actually is now. I do have one problem tho:

My problem is when i use my nitrous i get a fairly strong smell of gasoline, what could be the cause of this? I stopped after using it and popped the hood and there was a faint smell in the engine compartment. It appears that everything is pretty tight, and I couldnt find anywhere that would indicate a gas leak (btw, i have a wet kit, obviously)

What kind of tests, or what should I look for to cure this?

Oxidizr, this ones for you. I'm thinking its just the vapors from spraying in the tube. Is your fogger sraying directly to the middle of the tube? What shot are you running?

I know that permagrin feeling when I had mine it. I've decided not to use it on this motor. The temptation is hard to resist though. I'm going to wait until I get my other motor finished to spray again.

You are now injecting fuel through a dry manifold...just like old carbed cars you are gonna have some residual smell in the engine compartment after some spirited nitrous enhanced driving.

Just check your O2s and see if you are running to rich. It might be time to invest in some monitoring software.

In the future you may want to consider that the stock cats will not take too much "rich" operating conditions. Too much fuel being ignited by the cataylst will plug them fast...you'll smell that rotten egg smell when this starts happening.
