Default Upper Radiator Hose for Custom Intake

Since I switched to e-fans I made my own intake tube using 4" aluminum tube, and some rubber fittings. But now the upper radiator hose is resting on the aluminum intake tube. What have you guys done to fix this? I'm guessing I need a new upper radiator hose that won't get in the way, but there isn't much room between the pump water neck and the intake tube. I almost need to do a 90* elbow right off the water neck.

Anyone had this problem? Thanks.

I think there's some bendability in the water pump neck. People have cut it down or replaced it when doing intake swaps. Or get a 07+ water pump.

ive heard some trim the neck of it which in turn pulls the hose away from the intake tube.
