i read a thread on here, some ppl said if you upgrade the valvetrain u could maybe push 8k rpms on the 4.8 v8 cuz of its short stroke.
anyone have suggestions on this? i plan on a custom turbosetup for my truck and want to be able to hit liek 7.5-8k rpms with a turbo would be crazy on a v8.
i figure some z06 aftermarket springs adn 1:1.6 rockers...what else should i look into?

I would think that to push 8k you'd want to upgrade the bottom end also, but I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time!) Pretty sure that the factory rockers are 1:7 already
btw, nice lookin truck...got any more pics? (saw one almost just like it here in Jersey recently)

i figure rooster tails of mud would be pretty badass
nah i want to take my truck to the track sometime soon. all i have is an intake and dumped dynomax bullet so its almost stock. see how it runs. than do some more to it etc.
think ill just go with a supercharger setup though. with a cam and valve springs and headers and be done with it...or lift it 9"...just can't decide... doh
