...KR is kicking in at or around 3900 rpm...
we (cablebandit w/ me watching) couldn't tune it out either...
no matter what adjustments were made to fuel or timing, the KR would kick in and begin to rise...
we believe that stock fuel pump and ProCharger supplied in-line pump are not keeping up...injector DC was at like 68%
thoughts...opinions...ideas?
p.s. does anyone have any experience(s) w/ TRE Performance? ...looking at their fuel pumps...
...in-cab FP & wide-band gauges are definitely high on the priority list now...

with the new walbro, we will know its getting good fuel pressure....if it STILL gets KR, we will look at it being false...add a few gallons of racegas to verify and THEN rock and roll.....obviously i want to be cautious

If you were maxing the MAF it could run lean, but it wouldn't be only at 3900. It would be anytime the MAF is maxed. You can log the MAF reading and make sure though.
Are you doing a single pump?

you can have rich knock as well, but you'd hear that and the motor would dog out (too rich). I seem to remember reading a couple of members went through something to this extent as well (small to real big injector though). So, you don't have a WB hooked up yet? am I reading that "high on the priority list" correctly?
Yeh get the wideband. I may have missed you talking about upgrading, what size to what size?

Well...Walbro was a fairly easy install last Thursday...with cablebandit and quicksilverado's help that is...runs alot better, but still getting knock retard...going to remove pvc valve...SeaFoam the intake thru the vacuum line and replace the pcv with a Moroso breather that I will eventually tie into my new y-pipe (already have filter on pass. side @ filler neck location)...hoping that the pcv puking oil is the culprit responsible for the knock retard...
