UPDATE-Supertuner Killed My truck
#1
I just got my tuner back from superchips. It is the same tuner, it does have my vin on a sticker on the back. That is about all that is the same. The tuner is now also a DTC code reader and clearer or all GM ODBII equipped vehicles. When you plug it into the port is asks if you would like to read code or tune. Also have other prompts reminding the user to turn off electricial and so on. I tuned my truck sucessfully and am happy. I have not gave it a real beating yet but it puts me in the seat from take off and tranny shifts much firmer. It did not cure my spark knocking, but the temp today is sweet spot for my truck to ping. No matter what I do, if it is from 78-82 degrees I spark knock like no other. Hotter temps seem to produce less spark knocking. Who knows.
