Default Update pics of build, TruTrac Pulley System

Got a few hours in the shop today and was able to get the Billet Specialist TruTrac pulley system installed so I can start to build the custom headers for the twin turbos.

Was going to start building the headers this weekend but checked my extra bottle for back gassing the stainless and it is 75% argon, 25% carbon dixode, so going to have to get another bottle before I can start the headers (damn)....

I needed to go with a system that kept the alternator and A/C with in the confines of the motor since the turbos will be sitting to the right and left of the motor where many of the bracket systems place the alternator and a/c. Could not place them low because of the frame and the steering. So that limited my choices to a couple of different systems, and this one had some great looks to boot. Since this truck will be in car shows, I decided to go with this one for looks as well.

You can get their V-Trac system for $600 less

Pretty much all of the serpentine system (March, Zoops, Vintage, etc) cost a pretty penny. Some of those would not work on my engine as I have a Jesel Belt drive which can not use a short water pump, The TruTrac uses a short water pump but has a billet spacer behind the pump that pushes it out to the depth of a long water pump. The March uses a short pump, and the Vintage you can order with a short or a long, but I did'nt like their setup as much.'t

Don't forget it comes with everything you see, water pump, A/C pump, high output water pump, all the pulleys, bolts, etc. Cost a little less than $2K as I don't have power steering.
