Not a risk. The stock rods and crank can support alot of hp. I told Allan my goals. If he feels its fine, then I trust his judgement.

Well, I won't argue with you. But, to drop that much coin and use stock rods, seems like an unneccessary gamble, which is a risk. Yeah, the rods SHOULD be able to handle the power you are dealing with, but why even chance it, is all I am saying. As you said, you are on 4 motors in 2 years You would think you would want to take out all of the risk/if's/but's/maybe's/could of's/should of's/gamble's/what if's and be certain. Either way, sounds like a good combo that should be alot of fun to play with. Good luck

What's the main reason you're on #4...defects (3rd had a main go bad,right)...upgrades...running them real hard??

Sounds good. It seems as though you and me are on the same cycle-the trucks are down about the same time and we seem to get them running again about the same time. Lets make a deal right now......lets both agree to keep em running a long, long time this time

No time frame in mind yet. I figure it will be 1-2 more months before I get it all back together and running, then there is break in time and tuning to do. The transmission is still stock Only thing that has been saving it is no traction. Will wait til she blows then go from there
My luck with engines suck, I am very conservative in how I run and drive my truck compared to alot of people. The 4.8 blew thanks to it hydrolocking by injesting too much alky from my alky injection, my fault, didnt have the soleniod installed to prevent that from happeneing. The first 6.0 started knocking after it's second time to the track, and #3 went from a crappy build.

L-Eater, you got a deal, this time we'll keep em both together for a long, long time, hopefully If not, lets get together and have a ceremony and put both of our trucks out of thier misery
