I am hoping to have my ol heap back on the road in a few days. For those who don't know, I have been down and out with a smoked 4l80e. The tranny was a stock 80e with a Transgo. Now it will have all the pretty red and blue clutches in it, etc. And I had the converter re-stalled while it was out. Hopefully no more trans probs.

Then problem #2 is I was maxing the MAF last time out so I have been contemplating how to resolve that. I finally decided to ditch the MAF and install a Mega Squirt so I am thinking that once I get that up and running and tuned, I should be on here reporting some 6 second 1/8th mile, 10 second 1/4 mile times.

 

It'd be nice to see another 10 second truck around here.
