The UPD intakes were actually some of the best intakes out there. They had some trouble with the tubes cracking but, I think it was mostly with the smoked models.

smoothes the airflow instead of making it take a 90* turn after the filter, gets rid of the ******* that hangs from the factory tube, keeps it in a sealed box so your not sucking hot engine air. i put volant ram air under my UPD setup. i just wish i could find another UPD tube.

black gmc did a damn nice job on copying the design

man if it wasnt so close to race time i would send you my lid and tube so you could re-create the UPD design for the rest of the guys. im still on the stock tube...its just shaven down a lil.
