Question Is this unusual?

i just wanted to let you all know that i finally got around to changing my plugs and the plugs i pulled out were not ac delco! they were denso plugs. might i add that the plugs have never been changed since the truck was purchased from the dealer ship. my dad bought this truck with 5 miles on the odometer in 2002. has any one else found this?

That's not unusual at all...I believe that GM also uses NGK's sometimes. I've heard alot of guys mention that when they removed their plugs, they had Denso's.

I think my 5.3 had Denso, and my 6.0 had NGK's.

After I posted, I'm thinking that one set had AC Delco on one side, and NGK, or Denso on the other.

I meant that each plug had two names on it.

The Ngk's And Denso's Are An Optional Plug From The Standard Ac Delco. I Worked At A Dealership And A Bunch Of New Trucks Had Different Plugs In Them. Mine Had 3 Denso's And 5 Ac Delcos In It When I bought It New. weird!
